Look at this: I saw this at the intersection of Madrigal and Zapote road in Alabang--a sign within a sign! Is the city government lacking in funds or is it just a matter of "I'm-going-to-put- up-this-new-sign-and-I-don't-care-how-it-looks-like"attitude? What do you think?
SIGNS (street signs mostly) do NOT work in the Philippines, especially for drivers. We just learn to drive, not read signs. Besides, we seem to be "suckers" for putting up signs: "No ID, No Entry" "SLOW Men Working" "Tubero" "Modern Antique Furniture" "by order, mgt" .. anybody may put up any sign! And there's just too many signs out there that nobody pays attention anymore! Where in the world would you see road signs in PINK? only in the Plipins!
