A newbie blogger's dilemma.

Dormancy. That's the fight of a newbie blogger like me. It's been 9 days since my last post, and this is not looking good. I need to shake off the dust I accumulated for these past few days and here I am, writing away at 11pm of a Monday night. I'm planning to go around BF Paranaque area, take some photos, and go back at this again. I choose not to stop blogging! (Note: photo was "hijacked" in one of the websites that showed up when googling newbie)

It's a plastics world out there.

Plastics. They're everywhere. I went out the other day to a mall, and in 3 hours, I got myself three plastic bags for the items I bought. 3 plastic bags for 3 purchases, in 3 hours. Multiply that with the number of people who are also in that mall that day, then multiply again with the number of malls in the metropolis, then multiply again the number of day in a week, in a month, in a year. Got the picture?

A sign within a sign.

Look at this: I saw this at the intersection of Madrigal and Zapote road in Alabang--a sign within a sign! Is the city government lacking in funds or is it just a matter of "I'm-going-to-put- up-this-new-sign-and-I-don't-care-how-it-looks-like"attitude? What do you think?

a designer's wonderland.

Have you seen a child's eyes grow big, mouth open, hurried speech as soon as they see a toy store? Imagine that, but this time with two adults with passion for creative design... you might think we are crazy and delirious. This is the highlight of our trip to Bangkok--Thailand Creative Design Center. 20,000 different collection of books and magazines in graphic design, fashion, architecture, film, music, and arts. Museum. Exhibit Center. Film Center. Material Collection zone. Too bad, we only discovered this two hours to our flight back to Manila. I wish we have one like this in Manila. I will definitely come back to Thailand for this.

Photoshoot night safari along President's Ave., BF Homes Paranaque City

I'm discovering the joy doing night shots on the streets: with a camera and tripod, plus lots of night lights available, you're ready to go. This is the busy intersection along President's Avenue in BF Homes, Paranaque City, where you'll find Starbucks, Pancake House, Jollibee, along with other "home-grown"restaurants clustered in this area. It's amazing that for only 3years, these establishments sprouted like mushrooms...and there's more room to grow!
